1번 문제의 답은 ③ recent 입니다. reˇcent는 2음절의 단어로서 more recent - most recent 로 써야 합니다.

1. 'pretty'

-ous, -ive, -ful, -less etc.

imˇporˇtant 로 구분되는 3음절이니까 -more important - most important

forˇmal 로 구분되는 2음절 인데 (-y/-er/-ow 끝나는 형용사가 아님) - more formal - most formal

※ 2음절 이상의 형용사 중에서 「-(i)ous, -ive, -less, -ful, -(i)cal, -able, -ient」 로 끝나는 말은 비교급과 최상급에서  more, most 를 원급 앞에 붙인다.
