El Codor Passa

at Naminara(Chooncheon,Gangwon, South Korea)

The musician playing 'el condor passa' on the Naminara special stage.

In late fall I went on a trip Nami island with my family. It was chilly but we all make cheer with a feeling expecptancy can see the beautiful scenery of Nami Island. As I grow older, I am tired easily and susceptible to disease. Sometimes I need things that rest from my fatigue and com recover my strength. So I enjoyed going on a trip in fresh nature. Today's healing site is the very "Namni Island."

Have you ever heard "Nami Island"? Do you know where "Nami Island" is? Maybe you don't know. Let me introduce briefly "Nami Island" to you.
"Nami Island" is situated at 63km along the north of Han River(Chooncheon-si, Gangwon province, South Korea). "Nami Island" named after General 'Nami', who is the respectable man in Korean history courageously fought in battles and died at the age of 27. Especilly, "Nami Island" is very beautiful in autumn because of fall foliage. There are trees tall enough to touch the sky, along the big grass garden where deer, ostriches, rabbits, squirrels, ducks, and countless type of birds live together to provide where man and nature can coexist.

As soon as I entered the main gate of "Nami Island", I could heard a fresh music five strangers from Andes area(?). The music they are playing sounds like the sound that heal my tired body and soul. 'el condor passa'. When I was a high school student, I often heard this music. When I heard this music, I used to feel as if  I was a high flying condor in the sky over the Andes. On all such occasions, I was comfortable and relaxed my distressed mind.

Decades later, I am enjoying the same feeling at that time; comfortable, refreshed, feeling better...
When you are sad and worried, I recommend 'el condor passa' to you. So you will be relaxed and make cheer yourselves. Good luck to you.
