동사구를 수동태로 만드는 방법
• His friends laughed at John's pants.
= John's pants were laughed at by his friends. 「자동사＋전치사=동사구」• Her aunt took care of her.
=She was taken care of by her aunt. 「타동사＋부사＋전치사=동사구」
동사구가 있는 문장의 수동태
동사구가 있는 문자의 수동태는 동사구를 하나의 타동사처럼 생각하여 수동태를 만들어 줍니다. 그러니까, 아무리 긴 동사구라도 그냥 하나의 동사로 보시고 평소에 수동태로 만들어 주시면 됩니다. "긴 동사구=한개의 동사"

【타동사＋명사＋전치사】에서 명사 앞에 수식하는 말이 있으면 그 명사를 주어로 하는 문장을 만들 수 있습니다.

→ His little brother is always taken good care of by Tom.(O)
→ Good care is always taken of his little brother by Tom.(O)
→ Care is always taken of his little brother by Tom.(X)
• 수식하는 말이 없으면 명사를 주어로 수동태를 만들 수 없습니다.
