여름 방학에 읽어야 할 영어원서이 목록을 정리했습니다. 물론 여름방학에 이 원서들을 다 읽는다는 것은 불가능하겠지만 중학생과 고등학생의 경우 4권 정도는 가능하리라 생각합니다. 문고판으로 나온 원서도 있으니 수준에 맞는 책을 구입해서 읽어보면 영어 리딩의 눈을 뜨는 중요한 계기가 될 듯 싶네요.

더군다나 우리나라 최고의 번역가 중의 한사람인 안정효 교수님이 추천해주신 100권의 책입니다. 영어를 공부하는 방법은 여러가지가 있겠지만 다독(多讀)을 통해 영어의 구문을 익히고, 그들의 문화와 사상을 공유한다는 것은 더없이 좋은 영어 학습의 방법이 아닐까 생각해 봅니다. 언제나 그렇듯이 포기하지 말고 꾸준히 읽어주는 노력이 중요하겠죠. 한권도 읽지 않은 사람보다 1페이지라도 읽은 사람이 영어에 훨씬 쉽게 접근할 수 있다는 것입니다.
