「to some extent」왜, 볼 때마다 까먹는지 모르겠습니다. 독해 지문에 안 나왔으면 좋겠는데 여지없이 나오는 간단한 IDIOM을 중요한 것 같아서 빠뜨리면 큰 일이나 나는 것처럼 성가시게 하는 구(Phrase)입니다. 뜻은 「약간의, 다소, 얼마간의」으로 수식어 역할을 하므로 그렇게 문장 속에서 큰 비중은 없기 때문에 독해문제에서 자주 잊어버리는 말입니다.
